Rosewood Sanya Debuts
Rosewood Hotels & Resorts opened the brand’s first mainland Chinese resort, Rosewood Sanya, on August 21. All 246 guestrooms are ocean-facing and 45 guestrooms include balcony plunge pools. The resort’s design incorporates wood, tribal totems and aquatic elements. Set off on an art journey from the seven-meter-high abstract floral oil painting in the lobby to the gigantic rattan-woven book sculpture Shu Hai displayed behind the reception desk. Five restaurants and lounges feature a variety of local and international cuisines. HAI infinity pool bar offers standard classics and signature drinks crafted by the resident mixologist. Recreational options include Sense, A Rosewood Spa, a fully-equipped fitness studio, an indoor yoga studio and outdoor yoga platform, and a dramatic infinity-edge sky pool.

Mege Union Opened New FMH Medi Spa
Mege Union, an international group covering medical beauty, life cosmetology, photoelectric skincare and comprehensive health, began to expand its medical beauty section with strong force from 2014 and has opened 20 medical beauty centers in China within 3 years. In July and October this year, the group’s subordinate brand FMH (The Face Magic Haven) Medi Spa had two new openings separately in Central Hong Kong and Harbor City Hong Kong. Through non-invasive methods, FMH brings together modern medical beauty technology and traditional spa concepts. Its offerings cover regenerative medicine, Israel leading optical technology, TCM homeopathy, Southeast Asian spa culture and the spiritual aesthetics of France. Mege Union also had two other openings in Hangzhou this September, the Mege Zenith Medical Beauty Center and Queen Legend Spa.
