Scheduled to open in autumn 2017, Amanyangyun is set in a forest of tranquillity beyond the cosmopolitan bustle of Shanghai. Over the last decade, 10,000 camphor trees and 50 Ming and Qing dynasty homes have been transferred here from Jiangxi Province and recreated 26 ancient dwellings. Thirteen of them, now Antique Villas with pools, together with 24 contemporary Club Suites make up the resort’s room inventory, embracing a restful palette with interiors finished in wood, stone, and bamboo. Other 12 historic homes have been converted into Aman Residences. And Nan Shufang, named after the royal reading pavilion, is located in a serene garden as a space for contemplation and discussion. Aman Spa, with its idyllic setting is, devoted to holistic health, fitness and wellbeing.
