M&D Collection Spa was officially unveiled on the tenth floor of Le Royal Meridien Shanghai in March 2017. The interior design features a perfect combination of modern environment and the distinct cultural and historic elements of ethnic groups in the southwestern part of China. In addition to the standard facilities such as four double rooms and three single rooms, the spa also prepares a health check zone which is shaped like a crystal ball. Guests can go through health check before the tailor-made spa service is provided. Premedion Creates the First Beer Spa in China
In February 2017, a Germany based SPA consulting and management company Premedion GmbH created a beer spa in the Starworld Boutique Hotel – Premedion Beer Spa, the first ever and only one of its kind in China. The Spa features 3 exclusive treatment rooms and 1 VIP spa suite providing a wide range of beer-related services including Bavarian Beer baths with jacuzzi and steam functions, malt and yeast treatments for the skin, beer beauty and hair treatments, aqua roll hand and feet treatments, pedicures and more. The hops, beer, yeast are combined in many organic treatments, with the use of no chemicals or artificial additives. Also, Pevonia products are used to assist with the treatments.
